Blue Planet Wedding Awarded Our Green Wedding Blog Award

Posted on March 20th, 2008 by Monica in Green Wedding Blogs

Being the first day of Spring and feeling a little anxious to spend more time outside enjoying the beautiful weather, I’ve been reading up on my green wedding blogs. There are so many ideas for having a green wedding but only a few places that make any sense. It’s true: I’m not a totally green girl but I like to contribute when I can and BluePlanetWedding.com’s Green and Ethical Wedding Blog is quite extensive on ideas that are real.

If I had one complaint about the site it would be the font size - it’s too small. We know you’re not trying to save paper. ;-) But seriously, I have to adjust my browser to blow up the sizing so I can read it.

The information is great and you can review their list of 95 things to make your wedding more green friendly.

Are you planning a green wedding? How far will you go to make sure it’s green?

  4. Very cool site and a worthy cause to promote.

  5. I couldn’t agree more!!! I’ve actually referred many people their way!!!

  6. can’t wait to check out this blog. for our wedding we served local organic food and used local flowers in the bouquet and for decorations. My bouquet actually had oregano in it - beautiful blue flowers.

my husband is a wedding photographer - he shoots digitally and just gives the brides a disc and lets her print what she wants - no need to waste paper and chemicals making prints of images that aren’t wanted.

  7. Awesome site, glad people are promoting green weddings.
