Being the first day of Spring and feeling a little anxious to spend more time outside enjoying the beautiful weather, I’ve been reading up on my green wedding blogs. There are so many ideas for having a green wedding but only a few places that make any sense. It’s true: I’m not a totally green girl but I like to contribute when I can and BluePlanetWedding.com’s Green and Ethical Wedding Blog is quite extensive on ideas that are real.

If I had one complaint about the site it would be the font size - it’s too small. We know you’re not trying to save paper. But seriously, I have to adjust my browser to blow up the sizing so I can read it.

The information is great and you can review their list of 95 things to make your wedding more green friendly.

Earth Friendly Weddings Wins Our Green Wedding Blog Award

In regards to what you see on this blog, green or earth friendly primarily refers to products that are recycled, reused, handmade, natural, organic, or fairly traded.

Be sure to subscribe because you can always find something green to incorporate in your wedding. Plus it’s so adorable.

I’ve created the Green Wedding Blog Award category to celebrate green weddings in general.

There’s a new wedding invitations company stemming off this blog on December 21 so be sure to watch for that too.
