Wedding Blog Awards is an independent wedding journal for couples, guests and the people helping them celebrate. We write about decisions that shape how a day feels: how a ceremony reflects the people in it, how guests are welcomed, how to choose a considerate gift and how to preserve memories without keeping every object. The word “Awards” is part of our publication name. We do not claim to administer wedding industry awards or rank businesses.

A planning guide on this site may help you frame a question, but it is not a substitute for a venue's requirements, a supplier's current contract or local marriage rules. We point to outside sources where they help a reader take the next step. We do not promise that a particular service or product will remain available.

Our editorial point of view
We believe an appealing photograph is useful when it makes an idea easier to imagine, but photographs do not tell the whole story. Good wedding coverage should also ask who will set up a detail, whether guests can use it and what it costs in time as well as money. We aim to make these questions visible without prescribing one budget, style or family structure.
